Towards Standards for Political Finance Integrity Discussion Paper
Transparency International organised a series of six regional and global consultation meetings on Political Finance Integrity between March and June 2024. Over 100 participants took part, including experts from TI national chapters and intergovernmental organisations such as the OECD, OSCE, Council of Europe, African Union, International IDEA and other civil society organisations and foundations. These consultation meetings were convened to inform the new Transparency International Standards on Political Finance, which will replace the 2009 Standards on Political Funding and Favours and the Political Finance Regulations: Bridging the Enforcement Gap. The present Discussion Paper provides a summary of the key issues identified as part of this global consultation process and proposed policy options to address them. It is meant to elicit input from stakeholders and does not reflect official Transparency International policy or that of the individuals who took part in the consultations.
Anti-Corruption Knowledge Hub
The Knowledge Hub is where we present our research output. It includes the Anti-Corruption Helpdesk, TI's expert network, a series of topic guides and country-specific research. The Hub hosts many of the studies, tools and knowledge which lie behind what we do at Transparency International.
