Business Principles Steering Committee
The Business Principles for Countering Bribery benefit from the input, ideas and energy of a Steering Committee composed of a range of business experts, companies and other actors. The multi-stakeholder Steering Committee oversees and contributes to the content and development of the Business Principles for Countering Bribery. The Steering Committee also provides advice on the development of supporting tools by Transparency International. Its members:
- Lend general support to the current phase of the Business Principles for countering Bribery
- Provide impetus for the further phases of the project
- Help identify additional members of the Steering Committee
- Offer a source of knowledge and expertise in the further development of the Business Principles and associated projects
- Promote the Business Principles within their own organisations
- Add stakeholder breadth to the initiative
