Dr. Marsha Coleman-Adebayo sacrificed her career at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to speak out against vanadium poisoning among miners in South Africa. Although she won a historic court victory, the EPA continued its retaliation. She challenged the agency, successfully campaigning for the passage of the "Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act" (No-FEAR).
