Transparency International, #NewFIFANow and the International Trade Union Confederation will host a press conference in Zurich to discuss the reform process at FIFA
In the run up to the Executive Committee meeting of FIFA on Monday, information is coming out about steps FIFA is planning to take to confront corruption in its midst and address human rights concerns. Transparency International, Avaaz and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) have joined forces with the #NewFIFANow campaign advocating for time-limited independent reform of FIFA led by an eminent person, to ensure concrete measures are taken to win back trust in world football’s governing body.
