Media advisory: Corruption Perceptions Index to be published on 25 January 2022
Transparency International to release 27th annual Corruption Perceptions Index on Tuesday, 25 January 2022 at 06:01 CET
The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is the leading global indicator of public sector corruption, providing an annual comparative snapshot of 180 countries and territories. The index for 2021 draws on 13 expert assessments and surveys of businesspeople.
For the first time, the CPI will offer a comprehensive look at a decade of corruption, revealing which countries have improved, regressed or stagnated over the last 10 years. Additional analysis will highlight the connection between corruption, democracy and human rights – from the lowest-scoring countries through to advanced economies.
