| The TI Brussels office liaises with European Union institutions to promote the fight against corruption. Its main activities are to advocate for improvement in policy, legislation and programmes. All activities are embedded in Transparency International's global priorities and the related thematic issues. |

In particular, the TI Brussels Office aims to promote transparency and the fight against corruption in the following key areas:

| The TI Brussels Office is part of the International Secretariat of TI and works in close cooperation with the entire global movement, which consists of close to 100 national chapters worldwide. |

| The Brussels Office coordinates TI’s EU-relevant anti-corruption work, carried out by national chapters within and outside of the EU. Special emphasis is placed on the cooperation among the 22 TI national chapters in EU Member States, the seven national chapters in EU accession candidate countries and the International Secretariat in Berlin. |
