National chapters form the basis of the Transparency International movement. They act as the implementing partners for the majority of the national work on corruption, and provide clear insights into the realities on the ground.

Cameroon
Transparency International Cameroon was established in June 2000 and began working as part of the TI movement in October 2002. The organization achieved full accreditation status as a national chapter in 2007. TI Cameroon seeks to prevent and combat corruption in the public and private sectors.
Objectives

Ghana
The Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) was launched in December 1999 and has been a TI National Chapter since 2004. GII is a non-partisan, non-profit civil empowerment organization focused on the delivery of essential themes necessary for the creation of a National Integrity System. GII’s mission is a corruption-free Ghana in all spheres of human endeavour where people and institutions act with integrity, accountability and transparency. The chapter aims to continuously create awareness about the negative effects of corruption; to empower citizens to demand responsiveness, accountability and transparency from people and institutions in Ghana; and by working with people and institutions to build a culture of integrity, where corruption is unprofitable for people working in government, politics, business and civil society organisations.
Objectives
- Educating the public about civic rights and duties, especially the basis of constitutionalism
- Pressing for legislative reform of anti-corruption rules, enforcement procedures and rules restrictive to media freedom
- Supporting the evolution of strong institutions of governance especially the institutions directly involved in anti-corruption activities

Haiti
La Fondation Héritage pour Haiti (LFHH) was founded in 1999 and has been a TI National Chapter since 2005. LFHH’s mission is to combat corruption, to promote the values of ethics, integrity, probity and accountability in the public and private spheres of Haitian society and to encourage collective respect for the standards of moral, accountable disciplined, law-abiding, democratic and transparent governance.
While geographically not located in either the Africa or Middle East Region, the responsibility for Haiti has been allocated to the department as a result of the chapter's understanding of the cultural specificities Haiti shares with French-speaking West Africa and its wish to have proper service provision in the official language of the country.

Kenya
Transparency International Kenya was accredited as a National Chapter in 1999. The organization’s vision is “a transparent, just and accountable Kenyan society”. To make this vision a reality, TI Kenya is working to support citizens and governance institutions to effect transparency and accountability in public and business affairs through legal and policy frameworks, skills, knowledge and information.

Madagascar
Transparency International – Initiative Madagascar (TI-IM) was founded in 1997 and has been a TI National Chapter since 2002. The organization is active in the fields of fighting corruption in public procurement, local budget, corruption and the judiciary.
Objectives

Mauritius
Transparency Mauritius has been a TI National Chapter since 1999 and has established itself as a perceptive and professional organisation in the fight against corruption in Mauritius. TM proposes an alternative approach to the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in terms of its prevention, education and reform actions.
Transparency Mauritius is actively networking with key stakeholders in Mauritius namely institutions and organisations of the private and public sectors, the media and academics (secondary and tertiary education).

Mozambique
The Center for Public Integrity of Mozambique (Centro de Integridade Publica) was founded in 2005 and has become a TI National Chapter in Formation in 2008. The general objective of CIP is to promote integrity, transparency, ethics and good governance in the public sphere, and to promote human rights in Mozambique. Since 2006, the Centre for Public Integrity has dedicated itself to creating a deeper understanding of the problem of corruption in Mozambique.

Niger
The Association nigérienne de lutte contre la corruption (ANLC) is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit organisation created in 2001 and accredited as TI National Chapter in 2006.
The organization’s mission is to carry out targeted action aimed at bringing change to the behaviours of all political actors and the general public itself in order to reduce, and in the end eliminate corruption in Niger. The ANLC aims to contribute to the reduction of corruption in Niger with intermediate objectives of strengthening of the judiciary framework in Niger, improvement of public resource management (financial, material and human) and reinforcement of ANLC’s anti-corruption capacities.

Nigeria
Transparency in Nigeria (TIN) was founded in 1995 and accredited by TI as a National Chapter in July 1998 when it was also registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission.
The vision of the chapter is to fight corruption in Nigeria through a return to grass-roots-level anti-corruption strategies. To facilitate these efforts, TIN is represented through coordinating committees in all of Nigeria’s geopolitical zones.

Senegal
Forum Civil is a civil society association established in January 1993. In 2000, the organization became a TI National Chapter. Forum Civil is widely respected and has managed in the last decade to establish itself as an unavoidable actor in the sphere of public debate with representations in most of the country’s major cities in charge of identifying priorities and developing local programmes of action in conformity with its guiding principles.

Sierra Leone
The National Accountability Group (NAG) is the TI National Chapter in Formation in Sierra Leone. Being a civil society membership organization partnered with the Transparency International global network, TIRI (UK), and the Anti – Corruption Commission in Sierra Leone, NAG is dedicated to achieving greater accountability, transparency, and integrity in private and public affairs, curbing corruption, and holding local and national governments accountable to the people of Sierra Leone.

Zimbabwe
Established in 1996, TI Zimbabwe was accredited as a National Chapter in 2001. TI Zimbabwe, a non-partisan organization, has the vision of a Zimbabwean society anchored on values of transparency, accountability and integrity. The organization aims to promote good governance by fostering a culture of accountability, transparency and integrity through research based advocacy, public education/awareness, policy advice and monitoring.
