MEDIA ADVISORY

Berlin, 17 January 2008

Transparency Interational (TI) Chair Huguette Labelle and representatives from 30 TI national chapters – along with other NGOs - will be setting sail for Bali to attend a meeting of the 140 countries party to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), the only global road-map against the systemic corruption that continues to punish the world's most vulnerable.

TI and its peers will be pushing for countries to live up to the commitments they have made under the Convention and to observe the proceedings. Huguette Labelle and other senior representatives and Convention experts are available for interviews.

  • returning stolen assets
  • protecting whistleblowers

Bali International Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia
