Global Economic Symposium 2008 - Session "Fighting Corruption in Developing Countries"

The annual Global Economic Symposium (GES) constitutes an international forum for leading policy makers, business executives, academics and other representatives of civil communities to formulate innovative, global practical solutions for the world's most important economic problems.

The Global Economic Symposium aims to identify global challenges, examine their policy and business implications, and formulate concrete action responses to them.

Corruption is the single most important reason why many sensible reforms fail in developing economies. What are the most promising means of de-corrupting institutions – in government administration, security forces, and business?
